Bueng Cha-Wark Chaloem Phrakiat

       Bueng Cha-Wark originally a large swamp area covered around 2,700 Rai (1 Rai= 1,600 square meters). This place is situated 64 kilometers away from Muang District and the site is located next to Hun-Kha District, Chainat Province. Nowadays, it has been promoted to become a wetland according to Ramsar Treaty.

       The atmosphere around the swamp is relaxing and calm, visitors can see colorful lotuses on the swamp plus a flock of teal and can enjoy additional activities such as bicycling or observing various kind of both fresh water fishes and salt water fishes including sharks.

       There are many tourist spots on this place which are:

Bueng Cha-Wark Aquarium

-Building No1: Display both fresh water and salt water fishes with more then 50 species.

-Building No2: Has the first fresh water fishes tunnel with 8.5 meters in length.

-Building No3: A recently opened building, display a various kind of fishes from the ocean such as sea slug, star fish, Manta ray, Sea porcupine.

-Okinawa Blue: An imitation to create the tan to be resemble to coral reefs in Okinawa, Japan plus a large variety of fishes.

-Shark Tunnel: currently, it is the broadest water tunnel in the world, loaded with many species of shark. The tunnel has 6 meters width and 16 meters in length.

-Fresh water crocodile pond: Visitors can enjoy and watch how crocodiles live in the nature, with an excitement show from a crocodile tamers who will show many dangerous action with crocodiles. However, the show will be commited only on weekends and holidays.

-Tiger and lion cages: This large cage has been decorated with a nature-like cave and hill to illustrate the true nature. The cage consists of many tigers and lion species including rare species such as peafowl, zebra, camel, ostrich.

       To get there: Take the highway No 340 when arrive at Doembang Nang buat District,turn left at T intersection (A large sign showing place's name will be seen easily) turn left and proceed then turn right and once again at another T interection turn left and drive along the way until the sign is seen.






Wat Pa Lei Lai

       Wat Pa Lei Lai, located at Ma Lai Man Road, Tambon Rua Yai. It is considered as the most sacred temple in Suphanburi province.

     According to the history, the templehas been built more than 1000 years ago. A must see in this temple is to pay a respect to "Luang Phor Toh"- A main buddha image of the temple which has a height at 23.46 meters and width 11.20 meters. In addition, about 36 pieces of Lord Buddha relics have been placed inside the body of the buddha image since its beginning of construction. Overall, visitors will be amazed with a gigantic buddha image while  enjoying illustrations hanging along the hallway displaying Khun Chang Khun Phan literature and paying respect in order to show a good will at least 
once in their life.



The Great Pagoda of Don Chedi

       The Great Pagoda of Don Chedi situated at Tambon Don Chedi, Don Chedi District about 31 kilometers away from Muang District driving from highway No 322 (Suphanburi-Don Chedi). In this area, there are 2 points of interests in this area:

       - King Naraesuan The Great's monument riding on war elephant posture. The monument has been created to commerate his victory against Burmese and set Ayutthaya, a former capital during Ayutthaya period, free from Burma domination. It is a very famous and sacred monument for Thai people to come and pay respect to the monument.

       - Yutthahatthee Pagoda: The meaning of Yutthahatthee in Thai is "fighthing against one another on war elephant". For this pagoda, it has been built by King Naraesuan The Great in order to celebrate his victory agaist crown prince of Burma. The current pagoda which located behind the monument was the new one built to cover the real yutthahatthee Pagoda while inside the pagoda is a small museum illustrated with the information on events and wafarer during King Naraesuan reign. The admission is free for every visitors.



Chalerm-Patta-Rachinee Park, Bunharn-Jamsai Tower

       Bott park and tower are locatedin the same area on Nang Pim Road, Muang District, Supahnburi. The park covers an area of 17 Rai consist of aqua park, pigeon park, flower garden, musical fountain, and the observation tower:

- Chalerm Patta-Rachinee Park: Opens everyday except Monday with an opening time as followed:

       Tuesday-Friday 10:00-19:00

       Saturday-Sunday and public holiday 10:00-20:30

       admission fee: Adult 10 Bahts, Child 5 Bahts

- Mr. Bunharn Silpaarcha Performance memorial building: It is the building dedicated to a famous ex-Prime Minister, Mr. Bunharn Silpaarcha whose his performance during his administration have been displayed inside. The building opens everyday except Monday with an opening time as followed:

       Tuesday-Friday 13:00-18:00

       Saturday-Sunday and public holiday 10:00-18:00

- Aqua park and slider: Opens everyday except Monday with an operating time shown below:

       Tuesday-Friday 15:00-18:00

       Saturday-sunday and public holiday 10:00-18:00

- Bunharn-Jamsai observation Tower: It is the first and tallest observation tower in the country, its height is about 123.25 Meters divided into 4 floors. First floor will be a ticket office and souvenir shop, Second floor is an upper level scenic area, third floor is also a souvernir shop and sightseeing zone while the fourth floor will be the best floor and highest spot of the tower to see a panoramic view of Suphanburi city.

       The tower opens everyday and close on Monday with an operating time as followed:

       Tuesday-Friday 10:00-19:00

       Saturday-Sunday and public holiday 10:00-20:30




100 years old Samchuk Market

       Samchuk Market is currently one of the most famous markets for many Thai people. With the location away from Muang district about 45 kilometers (30 minutes drive) and located adjacent to highway no 340 enablr it to be one of the most convenient market interm of location and accesibility.

       The market itself is located next to Ta-Chin River with an old-wooden market atmosphere which can be traced back about 100 years ago. The main attraction spots in this market is the house of Khun Jumnong Cheenarak, tax collector of this neighborhood. His house is a 3 storey-structure, engraved and carved woods are decorated in many part of the house including many original antique furnitures from the day where Khun Jumnong still lived in this area.

       Another activities recommended to any visitors is to take photoes inside the market area where they will enjoy, not only an old atmosphere, but they will also able to access an old hotel, photograph shops, local physicians clinic (selling traditional herbs), with many more shops to see around by visitors themselves. Overall, this market is a must see for tourist who wants to witness the prosperity of the market where it still shine its history and survive until this day.

       Samchuk Market opens everyday (also opens on public holiday as well) from 8:00-17:00
